Injection in Deltoid:

Major injections are given to the deltoid muscles. The primary tactic includes the selection of proper area for injection. Normally, the drug is given on three heads. including, anterior, lateral and posterior. A 1 inch long needle can be used for injecting steroid in the deltoid region. The needle should be angled at 90 degrees (in the center of target muscle). This area can be easily found by leaving 2/3 finger down the shoulder bone. The injection should be given on the center part for fast and effective results.
